Restaurant Wedding At Decanter In The St. Regis DC

A restaurant wedding that has won me over. I’ve decided that black-tie events are my favorite, completely based on this wedding. The bride, Nadia, is stunning on a regular basis so we all knew that her wedding was going to be spectacular. The location, a few blocks away from the White House in the prettiest hotel in all of DC, set the tone for the evening. All the guests were dressed in their formal-best, and a few touches of peonies and personal elements made this wedding sensational!

If you haven’t been to the restaurant at the St. Regis lately, you should go. The lobby of the St. Regis has long been my absolutely favorite meeting spot. Now knowing that the restaurant is like the lobby, but more private – I’m sold.

Our own wedding was a restaurant wedding so I knew this would be good. I also know this couple pretty well, and their vision is so elegant that I could picture it. A formal setting like a restaurant wedding and asking everyone to wear their best black-tie is a recipe for success.

That’s probably the reason why this wedding is featured on Washingtonian Bride & Groom (Known as Washingtonian Weddings). Of course, getting featured in a magazine is not the ultimate goal. But we all know that a little validation goes a long way!
